Multicloud platform and technical leadership.
- Multicloud Platform: Infrastructure, security, control plane, and data plane for Oracle Database@Google Cloud, @AWS, and @Azure.
- Wrote design documents and product requirements for multicloud database features on Oracle Database@Google Cloud, led their architecture reviews, and aligned cross-functional teams through production release.
- Designed and delivered APIs supporting service availability for Oracle Database@Google Cloud, improving the customer provisioning experience. Was the tech lead through architecture review and production rollout, using AI agents extensively across planning, implementation, review, and deployment.
- Built components supporting multizone database cluster placement groups for latency-sensitive multicloud workloads.
- Redesigned the control plane and data plane of a core network feature, then migrated existing customers onto it in place across multiple regions, with no service impact.
- Architected automated certificate rotation for multicloud platform services across regions.
- Set code quality standards through code reviews across the team. Mentored two engineers on database infrastructure and distributed systems.

Database networking for Oracle Database@Google Cloud.
- Led on-time delivery of a database networking feature for Oracle Database@Google Cloud, covering architecture, security model, and production deployment.
- Reduced control plane errors through preflight validations and integrations with dependent service teams.
- Contributed to the network data plane and security model for low-latency database connectivity.
- Optimized Kubernetes resource allocation to reduce latency between multicloud services.
- Trained and mentored two new engineers, helping them ramp up and contribute independently.

Greenfield full-stack systems for industrial clients — optimization, logistics and scheduling.
- Architected and implemented six greenfield full-stack applications, migrating legacy systems to .NET Core, C#, and Angular microservices.
- Shipped a custom fractional knapsack algorithm that improved production efficiency by 2% at a major South American brewery. Write-up
- Engineered a distributed optimization backend that reduced product losses by 56%, resulting in an estimated $500K in annual savings.
- Mentored software engineers and led a cross-functional team to improve coding and problem-solving skills.

Scalable web applications, plus two projects outside the usual run of work.
- Engineered scalable web applications using Node.js, TypeScript, Angular, and PostgreSQL.
- Designed a shift scheduling optimization algorithm in Python for 300+ employees, aligning with local labor regulations.
- Developed a zero-knowledge proof application using rollup and circuits.
Senior Manager, Network Operations
Redbanc S.A. · Chile
Transactions, payments and ATM network operations.
- Led the industry-wide project to replace Chile's national ATM monitoring system: wrote the RFP with the legal team, evaluated vendors, including visits to ATM networks in Europe, and reported progress to the CEO and board of directors.
- Ran ATM network operations and customer technical support with a team of 50, keeping 98% network uptime across systems processing 100M+ transactions a year.
- Managed the telecom carriers behind the ATM network and chose each site's connectivity, wired or VSAT satellite.
- Led the software projects for network monitoring, and moved the monitoring center, customer support and telecom engineering in-house.
Head of Requirements Unit
Redbanc S.A. · Chile
Requirements and systems for interbank transaction processing.
- Designed the database model and prototype for the interbank settlement system, which reconciled CLP 2 billion (about US$4M) in balances between issuing and acquiring banks.
- Led a team of five that replaced the Excel-based process (100+ spreadsheets) with a Java and Oracle DB system, cutting processing from one week to one hour with 100% accuracy. The system passed external certification.
- Designed the transaction forecast model and fraud analysis using a data warehouse and SQL.
Software Engineer
Parse Software · Chile
Attendance and payroll systems, and ERP integrations.
- Led development of an attendance web application and backend services for 1,000+ employees, including salary and overtime calculations by business unit.
- Built .NET services that ran 24/7 to send employee data to payroll, and worked on ERP integrations from use cases through database modeling, using C#, SQL Server, and Oracle.

About
I grew up around computers in Punta Arenas, in the far south of Patagonia. My dad maintained a Novell network and programmed in Clipper, and I learned about computers as a kid. Pascal was my first programming language.
I have since worked across software development, optimization, and technical leadership, with teams in different countries.
I hold a BSc in Engineering, an Industrial Engineering degree, and an MBA. I live in the United States with my family.
